 Memories of Christine Shipley
"I remember lots of lunches in Chicago, seeing the parade for the astronauts following the historic moon walk, and riding the South Shore train with Chris the summer after graduation. I also remember getting caught in a Black Panther demonstration on our return from lunch one day. We expected to be surrounded by angry militants, but instead found them to be quite peaceful. Chris and I were both hired right out of Mr. Hooper's typing class for clerical jobs and spent much of that summer together!"-- Georgia Ratcliff
